Ladies Bowling League

  Resurrection Ladies Bowling League is open to all ages. Our bowling league meets on Wednesday mornings at the Jax Bowling Lanes on Beach Blvd. You may call the Rectory office for more information or to join a team.

Men's Group

  The Men's Group was formed in 1997. Its mission then, as now, is: "A Men's Fellowship Promoting Spiritual, Family and Social Enrichment." Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of each month (September through May) in the Parish Center. The group is open to all men at least 21 years of age, Catholic or not. The officers for 2007-2008 are: President - Bruce Snyder (955-2994), 1st VP - Tony Keen (419-6610), 2nd VP - Tom Hauessner (641-6536), Secretary/Treasurer - Stan Combs (744-6336). MOMS Ministry

  (Ministry of Mothers Sharing)--MOMS is an opportunity to develop a greater awareness of your own spirituality as a mother, and to appreciate the ministry of your motherhood. M.O.M.S. is a church-based peer ministry - mothers to mothers of all ages. "M.O.M.S.: A Personal Journal" paperback book is used as a guide through the series of eight sessions. The themes include self-esteem, stress, everyday spirituality, feelings, personal growth, friendships, celebration and continuing the journey. Aside from the 8-week session, M.O.M.S. at Resurrection offers on-going opportunities for Christian fellowship and spiritual growth.

  The Council is open to all women of the parish. It organizes and provides volunteers to meet many parish and community needs.

Religious Articles

  Our religious article counter is staffed by volunteers. We try to provide a large selection of religious articles and gifts at a reasonable price. We can order special items for you and carry speciality items throughout the year such as Communion veils and gifts, Confirmation gifts and Easter, Advent and Christmas items. The counter is staffed before and after the Sunday Masses. If you would like to volunteer for this ministry, please call the rectory office.

Respect Life Programs

  This group educates the parish on life issues such as abortion, euthanasia, and other life issues in a Catholic context. Members are called to act on their beliefs and be pro-life missionaries.

  The society offers tangible assistance to those in need on a person-to-person basis. It is this personalized involvement that makes the work of the Society unique. This aid may take the form of intervention, consultation, or direct monetary or in-kind service. No work of charity is foreign to the Society. The Society meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month in one of the parish center conference rooms. Please check the weekly bulletin and join us.

  The Young at Heart Club is a spiritual, social, and entertainment organization for older parishioners. Members volunteer for many parish events. The organization sponsors activities for interested seniors.
